Honey Is Never Expired

Honey is food that is full of wonder: it was never broken. Reported that the archaeologists found several bottles of honey in ancient Egyptian tombs and they still taste good! Many people wonder why the bacteria / germs can not grow in honey because everything is considered equal, bacteria love sugar. Unique chemical composition, ie a low water content and high acidic nature of honey makes an environment with low pH (between 3.2 to 4.5) that make bacteria and other microorganisms can not multiply. Thus the words "Expiration Date" / "Best Used Before Date" on the packaging of honey is not really necessary at all.
